Belmont Park

Welcome to Belmont Park, San Diego's only beachfront amusement center and home of the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster and Plunge.
Belmont Park carries on the tradition of old-time family fun featuring The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, Vertical Plunge, Bumper Mania, Tilt-A-Whirl, Liberty
Carousel, Crazy Submarine, Thunder Boats, Baja Buggies, Sea Serpent,
and Pirates Cove, San Diego's largest and most adventurous indoor children's play center.
Giant Dipper Roller Coaster
The park's most distinctive attraction, the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster is one of two
original oceanfront roller coasters still operating on the west coast. The Giant Dipper was originally built in 1925 and has recently been restored for all to
experience the excitement of its quick drops, steep hills, sharp curves and high speeds!
Family Fun Arcade and the Arcade At Pirates Cove With games ranging from surfing, dancing and sports to exciting sci-fi and shooter challenges. The Family Fun
Arcade and Pirates Cove offers fun for the entire family with games and arcades for toddlers to adults, there isn't a bigger arcade anywhere on the beach!
The Liberty Carousel
Located near the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, is an antique reproduction made with such attention to detail that it
transports riders back to the golden age of carousels. Pictured in the hand-painted scenes are Father Junipero Serra as he is about to discover Mission San
Diego, the Spirit of St. Louis flying over the Giant Dipper, the Hotel Del Coronado and a 1920's beach scene. All patterned after photographs preserved by the
San Diego Historical Society.
Vertical Plunge
This incredibly fun ride takes riders up three stories before dropping
them back to the ground. This is a great experience for adults and children alike. Must be 44 inches or taller.
Bumper Mania
Take a wild bumper car ride like no other. Ride on multicolored cars and spin, chase and bump fellow riders. Must be 44 inches or taller. The Plunge. San
Diego's largest indoor heated swimming pool.Built in 1925, The Plunge at Mission Beach has served as a historic aquatic and community center for generations.
Today, The Plunge continues to be the centerpiece of Belmont Park, and a leading provider of sports and fitness services. We invite you and your family to join
